As the market leader in car door handles, Huf now launches an improved version in the flush door handle family, which is based on customer feedback. The flush door handle with rotational opening function is lighter and thanks to its reduced installation depth it can be integrated in almost all car doors.

The new flush door handle with rotational function is the latest example and particularly meets the requirements for electric cars.”
Optimized flush door handle for electric cars
Based on customer requests and feedback, Huf has improved its flush door handle family and presents an even more advanced version of the rotational flush door handle. Thanks to reduced weight, the latest model is one of the lightest door handle systems in the world. Another advantage: With the very low installation depth these flush door handles can be integrated into almost all car doors. Reduced weight, small packaging and seamless integration into streamlined car bodies make them the perfect fit for electric cars. This contributes to reduced energy consumption.
The flush door handle also enhances the fascinating look and feel of modern electric cars with a unique entry experience. With the optional, integrated illumination feature, users are led towards the car – where they are welcomed by the door handle swiveling out automatically upon approach.
Like all flush door handles made by Huf, the latest product has an ice breaking function enabling reliable car access even at temperatures of minus 40 degrees and in icy conditions. The hidden lock cylinder for emergency opening can be integrated as an option. Also optional is an integrated NFC antenna. With this feature the car door can be unlocked by holding a smartphone in front of the door handle.
Whether rotational, deployable, flap or fixed – Huf offers the perfect flush door handle systems for each car concept. In 2006, Huf had already installed the first flush door handle for the Mercedes SLS. This variant with flap opening is still in great demand for sports cars today. The best example is Porsche, who has been installing flush door handles from Huf with automatic opening functions in the Porsche 911 (992) since 2019. The sports car manufacturer also relies on this door handle concept in the Taycan, the first Porsche production sports car with an all-electric drive. In addition to the established big players in the industry, newcomers are also increasingly relying on door handles made by Huf.
