Huf España, based in El Burgo de Osma, Spain was awarded the Ford Silver World Excellence Award 2013 for supplying door handles of excellent quality.
The team of Huf España is especially happy as the company was already awarded the noble prize in the year before. “Receiving the prize two years in a row makes us especially proud. It shows that we are supplying products continuously in best quality”, says José Forner, General Manager of Huf España.
The company in Spain was the first subsidiary of the German based Huf Group founded in 1982. Today there are around 385 people working at Huf España.
Huf Group in total counts 19 subsidiaries in Europe, North and South America and Asia. Two of the companies are specialized in tooling, special machinery and mobile data carrier manufacturing, two others in electronics manufacturing.Worldwide Huf employs around 7.000 people, the turnover was 1,1 billion Euro in 2013. Around 400 employees work in product development in Germany, Romania, the USA, Brazil, India and China. Statistically more than 13 million new cars every year are supplied with products made by Huf.
