The programming function of the new tire-pressure monitoring system IntelliSens facilitates the implementation in most vehicles. High inventory levels in garages and long waiting times for drivers when getting their tires changed are now a thing of the past. Due to the new update function, IntelliSens can also be used in new vehicle models.
Since 2014, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is mandatory in newly manufactured cars. This not only means costly research and developments for car manufacturers, but also larger inventory in the aftermarket and long waiting times for drivers when getting their tires changed.
Due to the newly integrated programming function, Huf’s universal sensors have the largest proven vehicle coverage in the market. This allows garages and tire dealers to significantly reduce their inventory levels. Distributed in new vehicle models, the sensors receive an update of the car-specific protocols via the TPMS tool. Thus Huf offers the greatest flexibility for expansion of car manufacturer’s vehicle fleet, in addition to the existing extensive vehicle coverage.
The compact design of the new generation of sensors significantly reduces the sensor’s weight and its size. This makes the TPMS easier to install. Motorists can quickly use their car again when the tire change is due.
