IT experts applaud the innovative TPMS servicing solution from Huf: The IntelliSens App has been honoured with the title ‘Best of 2016’ at the INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT awards in Europe. Huf Hülsbeck & Fürst took the prize in the category ‘Apps’ against the competition of around 330 other candidates. The innovative app, which makes the servicing of tyre pressure monitoring systems much easier, has been ranked among the top 20 solutions honoured with the INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT 2016 award by ‘Initiative Mittelstand’, an initiative of the medium-scale business segment.
A jury of experts from the IT industry, the world of science and the media evaluated and rated more than 5,000 products and solutions entered in 38 categories according to the criteria innovative content (product maturity and future-orientation), benefits (effects on profitability, increased efficiency) and applicability for utilisation in the medium-scale business segment. The prize was awarded to the best innovations in each of the respective categories.
The new IntelliSens App makes diagnostics and configuration of tyre pressure sensors faster and easier than ever before. This was also the reason given by the jury of experts for choosing the App as this year’s winner of the INNOVATIONSPREIS-IT 2016 award.

The prizes have been awarded since 2004, and reflect the spirit of the ‘Initiative Mittelstand’ slogan, ‘Think. Innovation.’ The aim of the awards is to strengthen and promote innovation potentials in German-speaking enterprises. The awards honour particularly innovative and practicable products, services and solutions in the areas of information technology and communications in the German medium-scale business segment.
